INFORMATIONAL MEETING: Wildfire Safety & Resilience

The Montana Public Service Commission will host an Informational Meeting on the subject of Wildfire Safety & Resilience as relates to electric transmission and distribution infrastructure. Specifically, business leaders from Epsilon Cable, Amp Jack, and CTC Global will explain innovative strategies for use of modified structures and advanced conductors that could reduce the risk of fires caused by overhead utility lines. In addition, Montana State Senator Daniel Zolnikov will join the meeting if he is available and discuss potential legislation regarding implementation of new powerline standards in high fire risk areas throughout Montana.

This meeting was requested by and will be chaired by Public Service Commissioner Randy Pinocci. As time permits, the Chair will facilitate Questions and Answers among those in attendance, both in person and on Zoom.
